Chromatographic screening method for dioxygenase mutein screening - An analytical chromatographic method based on the LC-MS technology, that enables semi-quantitative medium throughput analysis of product, substrate, and co-substrate (glucose and a-ketoglutarate) of the KGDO-reaction was developed. The aim was to develop whole-cell based screening systems, which can be employed to screen the three types of monooxygenases investigated in the OXYGREEN project, namely cytochrome P450 enzymes (P450s), Baeyer-Villiger monooxygenases (BVMOs) and alpha-ketoglutarate dioxygenases.
