About this deal
When I was growing up, back in the dim, dark days of velociraptors and Visigoths, we not only didn't have Blu-rays, or even DVDs: we were pre-VHS, even. In this powerful film, Sergeant John Kinley (Jake Gyllenhaal) is on his last tour of duty in Afghanistan when he is teamed with up with a local interpreter, Ahmed (Dar Salim).
Sure, we know John will survive, and we can probably figure out what will happen with Ahmed as well.In that I mean it does not have any of the typical cinematography or triple double cross elements that are in every single one of his movies.
I was expecting a drawn out fiasco to get some resolution but instead found instant refund with this more than fair top seller. Guy Ritchie delivers a gripping, memorable tale about the hell of modern war and the universal nature of sacrifice and heroism. UHD option right away and no bonus features either, but at least serves up a top-tier A/V presentation including full-strength Dolby Atmos audio. Best known for glib, violent gangster flicks, Ritchie doesn’t feel as though he suits this kind of earnest tale.In short, this is the kind of movie you can watch on a Saturday afternoon and turn it up and feel is seep in.
